Hello Everyone, The votes have been tallied . . . and it has been a long time coming for this recipient. Mistergin is the man this month! A big thank you goes out to everyone for taking time to vote in our on going Forum Poll for our clan's PLAYER OF THE MONTH. This month the honor came to |zF|mistergin, with a solid 36.84% of the overall votes placed in his honor. Gin, has been up for the 1st slot probably no less the 7-8 times in the last eighteen months and if there was a secondary award for the most times on the zF Podium, for coming in 1st, 2nd or 3rd, it would certainly go to mistergin! Mistergin is remarkable in so many ways and his dedication to our circle of friends, the guests who frequent our servers and forums, and to our fellow Zark clans within UT is remarkable. As a zF Admin, he makes extra efforts whenever he can to see to it that everyone's voice is heard and then he works hard to translate that feedback into real changes and adjustments into the ever evolving experiences within our clans sphere of influence. Mistergin is a perfectionist and continually strives for nothing less than excellence in all that he does within zF and abroad. He represents all that zF stands for and there is no doubt in our minds that he will continue working hard to uphold the highest standards which help to make our clan, our servers, our ventrilo channels & our forum the best they can possibly be. Heads up friends and guests, Hot off the press! Please join us in welcoming the newest addition to our grand circle of friends. |zF|Lee Many of you know this player well as he has been playing UT for many years now. Lee is a great player whos skills have improved dramatically with regard to "true team play" over the last 3-4 months. Lee was not aware that we have been watching him closely, and several others too, over the last many months without their knowledge. After 4 weeks of hightened clan awareness and spectation of these players, we collectively became convinced that Lee had truly made a commitment to the standards we strive for within zF. We are all pleased to have Lee on board with us and look forward to great things from him in the future. New main server! |

We are in the process of switching to another server and IP. The new IP is 67.19.56.5 It is up and running now. The old server will be passworded and really only still there to advertise the move, in it's server name. Please add the new IP to your UT2K4 Favorites in the server browser A.S.A.P. 2K4 LG Zark ladders for CTF & TDM are up at Fragged Nation! |

We are discussing settings, translocators, maps etc., there now. FN CTF Ladders. FN TDM Ladders. We are still working with Proving Grounds and have hopes of finalizing something there soon, as well. In both cases, all clans interested should register, talk about settings and your interest in playing. This is not just for clans either. If some "regulars" want to band together and frag, then get in there. The same goes for any clan with not enough people interested. Put together a multi-clan team, or one with some non-clan members and try to rule the ladders! If there are other things, like wanting a 1v1 DM ladder for example, post that too.

We are trying to get some ladders started for CTF & DM/TDM in UT2K4. Any clan interested, should post in the following threads. Fragged Nation ladders. Proving Grounds ladders. We already have several clans interested, but it is important that we have as many as possible. We have proposed some settings and mutators in those threads, including the SA-101 rifle and custom translocators. Let the fragging commence!!

Hello Everyone, Over the last few months that UT04 has been out, |zF| has been trying hard to get our feet back on the ground, and set forth some of the best servers out there. For months we have searched several server companies trying to find what best suited our needs, and yours as well. After carefully looking at all the server companies out there, we have chosen to go with NuttyServers. Nutty gave our team a chance to test out a 20 man server for a week, and set up a redirect free of charge. They are by far the greatest server company I have ever dealt with, and have the worlds best technical support. We highly recommend looking into NuttyServers if you are in the market. I'm Glad Ya Asked For the last two weeks, the Admins here at |zF| have been working around the clock to complete our two newest servers. 1) |zF|'s New Zark Server- 67.19.55.133 2) |zF|'s New Tournament DM/TDM-67.19.55.137 Tomorrow " June 8th" will launch the Grand Opening of our new DM/TDM Server. We have put this server together to compete with each other in All Weapons. The Tournament Rules follows Provinggrounds DM/TDM regulations...we feel its best to offer the community a true Tournament Style Server, and we hope you enjoy the experience. As popular as our UT03 server was, we would like to populate our new Zark Server. As many of you know, we hosted Zark through IP: 69.13.33.6. We will no longer have Zark running on that server due to the fact we are making that server a pure Psychogib server. Our new Zark server will however host Psychogib incase our crowed wants to play both game types. Our new zark/Psychogib server is able to handle bigger crowds better, and this is why we have chosen to take this step. What Should I know About All |zF| Server? A) For all our Zark servers, we will be using the Mutator known as SA2K4_101. This weapon was created by spoon, and can be configured in any way. While in game using the riffle, type in the console mutate sahelp. Shortly after doing so, a drop-down box will appear allowing you to configure any scope of your choosing...including color. B) We are running a new mutator which displays a new score board. This new mutator allows you to switch from the new scoreboard look to the old, adjust hitsounds, teamskins if enabled, and a new feature called Team Overview. Team over allows you to see your teammates helth/sheld/ If they have the damage Amp or flag/and also tell you if they are using the translocator. While playing team associated games, the game messages show the player name either in red or blue to show which team that members belongs to. Also something new is the ability to change you display name color without changing a thing in your user.ini. As many of you know...this new color name change has affected several servers in displaying names in the correct order, and also showing players in the master server list. When player change the color of their name through their user.ini....to an Admin on the console, or to the UT directory is looks all messed up..."Its displayed with wired characters" Also, its very hard to tell who is a spectator on the server list when spectators are supposed to be highlighted in yellow. Now, instead of using the user.ini simple change it in the settings. Your name will show up correctly in the Ut04 master list, and to all admins in the console. Your name will only show these colors if you are playing on our server, or another server is running the same mutator. But this is very simple, and is 10 times more effective. To adjust all these settings, please in game press F5. Choose which settings you feel are best, and have fun! We hope by having our server very customizable that is increase your level of enjoyment. Whats The Next Step? Our new goal now as a community is to bring back the fun/excitement of Zark like it once had. And to offer a great place to come and relax...and kick it with your friends. We ask all new guest or regular to please join us on Ventrilo on a regular basis, or before/during practice. Requirements: 1) Ventilo....Please download Ventilo client version here... Important Files You Should Install! Please Get These... |

Hey Everybody, As you know we are finally building up our servers for 2K4. After weeks of testing, we have chosen to go with NuttyServers as our new host. As you may know, we add all sorts of custom maps, and packages to our servers...and this is never a problem. But, we have found that there are three packages that need to be installed on your home system to make it easier for us. CBP Volumes 1 & 2....and also SHK "Shokazulu's" Map Packs. CBP Bonus Pack 2 Volume 1 CBP Bonus Pack 2 Volume 2 SHK Shockazulu's Map Pack 1 Please everybody download these map packs. The packs themselves contain lots of information that is hard to redirect. If these files are in the correct folders in your UT04 directory...you will not have to download them! So please try to save these on your home system! Thanks Everybody, BATTS By: Battousai |
